Illawarra Steelers Women’s Premiership coach Alicia-Kate Hawke has selected Indigenous All-Stars pair Tahlia Fuimaono and Shakiah Tungai to make their debuts for the Steelers against Wenty Magpies next Monday night.
The pair will add further experience to a side stacked with local juniors from the Illawarra’s very successful Tarsha Gale Cup sides of the past few seasons, including Teagan Berry, Keele Browne and Salma Nour.
In other team news, SG Ball Coach Russell Aitken has named a largely unchanged team following their 34-20 win over the Melbourne Storm, while injury has forced a change in the Harold Matts team with prop Letham Manago out with a shoulder injury, replaced by Jackson Smith.
In Tarsha Gale Cup, Courtney Crawford has stuck with her winning line-up from Round One for the clash with the Eels.
