Cougars, Collies Women & Girls Eyeing Finals

The Southern Corridor Women and Girls tackle competitions enter the final round of the regular season this Saturday with Illawarra teams Corrimal (Open Women and U18’s) and Collegians (Under 18’s) eyeing off a finals berth.

The second-placed Cougars host Jamberoo (5th) at Ziems Park. The Cougars defeated Jamberoo 30-6 in their only other meeting this year back in Round 6.

>>Where They Stand

In the Under 18’s, the Cougars (4th) are away to Cronulla-Caringbah (3rd), with both sides on equal competition points. The shire-based outfit got the better of the Cougars in their last meeting with a 12-4 victory after the two sides played out a 10-all draw earlier in the season. Collegians have the luxury of a bye this week ahead of the finals.
