Round 10 of the Harrigan Premiership sees Dapto hosting Wests on Saturday afternoon at Dapto Showground as well as recognising loved ones lost in a special one-off memorial jersey. It’s also Old Boys Day with the club celebrating the 30th anniversary of the 1994 First and Reserve grade premierships.
Both teams will aim for back-to-back wins after last-start victories over Corrimal. The Canaries got the better of Corrimal in Round 8, and Wests got the job done with a 44-0 win over the Cougars last week.
In the ‘Match of the Round’ Thirroul will journey up the freeway to take on the high-flying De La Salle for the first time this season after their scheduled Round 4 match was a washout. The defending premiers aiming to halt the ladder leaders’ three-game winning streak. Corrimal is at home to Collegians on Sunday afternoon, their sights firmly set on securing their second win of the season.

The Lower Grades
In Harrigan Plate action, Avondale Wombats want to continue their undefeated dream run in their inaugural season with a win over Thirroul, who have won four of their six outings.
Defending premiers, Western Suburbs have the chance to bounce back from last week’s loss to the Wombats when they head to Dapto Showground to take on the Canaries.
While we have only just passed the halfway mark of the season, and both teams have a game in hand, the outcome of the Helensburgh vs. Berkeley clash could significantly affect their top-four aspirations. The Cougars host Collies in the remaining match of the round.
