Illawarra Steelers Open Women’s Coach Jamie Szczerbanik has named an unchanged lineup for the Round 3 clash with the Parramatta Eels at Collegians Sporting Complex on Sunday, 14 July.
Late changes last week saw the impressive debuts of 17-year-olds Tori Shipton (pictured) at hooker and Koffi Brookfield at half with the experienced Caitlin Moran switching to five-eighth. The side was also boosted by the inclusion of Indie Bostock in the centres and Trinity Tauaneai at lock.
The Steelers bounced back from their 8-4 first-up loss to Mounties with an resounding 50-6 win over the West Tigers last week, scoring ten tries to one in a dominant display in attack and defence in their first home game of the season.
The Eels started their season with a 18-10 win over the Manly Sea Eagles before going down 20-14 to the St George Dragons last week. Kick-off is at 3 p.m. at Collegians Sports Complex.
