Illawarra Women and Girls to play new Southern Corridor Comp

Illawarra Open Women and Under 18’s girls tackle teams will compete in a newly formed Southern Corridor Conference against teams from Cronulla, St George, and Group 7 this season.

In the Under 18’s, Corrimal Cougars and Collegians will play Kingsgrove Colts (St George), Cronulla Caringbah (Cronulla), and Stingrays of Shellharbour (Group 7).

In the Open division, the Cougars and Mt Kembla will come up against Group 7 teams Jamberoo, Milton Ulladulla, Nowra Bomaderry Jets,  Stingrays and Warilla, St George’s Penshurst RSL and Riverwood Legion and Como Janalli from the Shire.

The season will run over ten weeks with Round One commencing this Saturday.

  • Collegians v Kingsgrove Colts, 2.30pm, JJ Kelly Park
  • Corrimal Bye

  • Corrimal v Como Jannali, Scylla Bay Oval
